I’m so proud of my kids. For my sister’s birthday, she asked them to have an Alex’s Lemonade Stand at her party to raise money for pediatric cancer research. They did, and they raised over $200! They were so excited, and I’m glad for them that they got to experience helping other kids like that.

I wish I could post a picture! You can see the pride on their faces. I read that there were more than 2000 Alex’s Lemonade stands that weekend. If each of them managed to raise $200, that’s $400,000 for cancer research. Alex must be smiling down from heaven.
