I love this concept. I really really need to start one and keep it going. We were at a park the other day and I sketched a tree in mynotebook. I wish I was a better artist though! LOL -
Brandie, I had (ok.. HAVE!) a hard time with that too, because I am NO artist. lol. But, like we tell our kids, it is the process that matters - the seeing and expressing - now how 'good' the drawing is. The book we use as a guideline (linked at the bottom of the post), is excellent and outlines a process for journalling. The process as given is just a suggestion, but we're finding it really helpful.
