Aside from giving money to the Red Cross, does anyone have ways we can help the victims?
I googled it and found lots of local papers (none in my area) with local drop off sites, but that doens’t help me. I want to do something to help besides sending money – sending supplies, clothing, blankets, etc …. any ideas on where to look?

I don’t know. A lot of churches send teams out to help people after disasters—can you find out if there is one in your area planning to do so? Maybe you could gather supplies to send with them or otherwise support their team. And don’t discount the Red Cross; just because you’re giving money doesn’t mean it’s an empty gesture. Or, call them and find out a way to get involved. They may need local volunteers in your area.
